David Pawson

David Pawson passed away in 2020 (90 years old). Not from Covid-19. He was suffering with bone cancer. Sadly I have only been aware of him for about a year. I wish I had been studying him for many years. I plan on continuing to study the Bible using his resources that he generously left behind for all of us. Please visit either of his sites, davidpawson.com or davidpawson.org .

The first time I watched one of his videos on his YouTube channel it created such an excitement for me. I wanted to study the Bible and hear more of David’s insights on the Bible. I have listened to many preach and teach but the difference is David’s willingness to speak the truth. Many preachers today are afraid to preach on how the Bible tells us to live. They fear rejection of themselves and their church. David is ALL about our peoples’ souls and not about money and power. I fear that Christians are more interested in how Jesus can fit into their lives and not how they can fit into His life.

His thoughts and opinions will not sit well with everyone. Some of them go against the way of the world. As Christians we should know that the world is destined to self destruct through sin. It’s already in motion and as David says, its going to get a lot worse before it gets better. But it will get wonderful when Jesus returns but until then, it may get really ugly for everyone, especially for Christians. We must be ready to either stand up for Jesus or become the world. I pray we all choose Jesus.

This site will be greatly influenced by David Pawson as we delve into the importance of studying the Bible. Each of us should never be satisfied with what any preacher, family member, friend, or anyone says about the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit without knowing or confirming for ourselves via the Bible. People make mistakes. Sometimes on purpose and sometimes not. David Pawson always encourages those that hear his messages to check them out.

If we let ourselves be steered in our spiritual life by false teachings, then we really have no one to blame but ourselves. God gave us all the information that we need to know on how to live our life for Him.

It’s not easy to live as God wants us to. Sin will always be our stumbling block. We are all sinners. Our hope should be that we let the Holy Spirit guide us. Our divine guide to heaven is the Bible. It’s our very own ‘user manual’ to life. It’s only effective if we study it and practice it.

And never forget, when we pray we are talking directly to God. Pray often and pray out loud. He is listening.
